Working for the other animals
Animal Equality is an International organization dedicated to raising awareness and ending about non-human animals suffering and death due to the prejudice they are victims of speciesim.
Non-human animals are regarded as properties. They are victims of a mentality that considers them things or tools that exist for human benefit. Be it for food, clothes, in laboratories or as entertainment, millions of non-human animals are confined, made suffer or murdered due to species prejudice: speciesism. Animal equality exists solely to hep challenge this prejudice and uses all it's resources to fight against it and promote an ethical lifestyle: veganism.
Animal Equality is an abolitionist group, it works through public education to end animal use, but doesn't a won't accept or use welfarist measures or changes in the way non-human animals are exploited, in order to achieve our goal, as welfarist measures have demonstrated to benefit non-human animal exploiters making animal slavery more efficient and profitable. Neither will Animal Equality support any group who promotes welfarist measures or changes.
Animal Equality won't use speciesist arguments to promote the idea that all animals are equal as we understand this weights against the recognition of our moral duties to non-humans. Neither will we support groups who have used these arguments as part of their agenda.
Animal Equality believes that all animals that have the capacity to feel, independently of their species, deserve their interests taken into account and given an equal and fare consideration.
