LAHORE: Glucose and vitamins are being administered to birds and animals at the Lahore Zoo to save them from dehydration, while air coolers have also been installed in front of some cages. Lahore Zoological Gardens Director Muhammad Yousaf Pal told APP on Sunday that glucose was being administered to all birds through water, and vitamin capsules were being given to the animals through their feed. He said that 25 air coolers had been installed in front of the cages of tigers, leopards and other animals.
