If you’re anything like us nothing is quite as comforting as a warm bowl of mac’n’cheese. Not only is it traditional and delicious, when you veganize it it’s also comforting to know that no animals were harmed in its creation.
There are dozens upon dozens of recipes for homemade mac’n’cheese. Some call for nut based sauces others use nothing but vegetables but on many weeknights, we enjoy the simplicity of boxed mac’n’cheese.
Thankfully, brands such as Annie’s Homegrown, Daiya, and Earth Balance stepped in to make sure that those who follow a plant-based diet weren’t left out. Now we’re thrilled to hear that options from Upton’s Naturals and Field Roast are soon to hit a store near us.
Upton’s Naturals is bringing us two nutritional yeast based options: Ch’eesy Mac and Ch’eesy Bacon Mac and both of them look incredible to us and are ready in under a minute!
Field Roast, famous for it’s holiday roasts and plant-based sausages, are also bringing us two new flavors: Creamy Mac’n’Chao and Chili Mac’n’Chao, both of which use Field Roast’s super popular sliced cheese brand, Chao.
With more people than ever before deciding to ditch dairy we are thrilled to see four new types of plant-based mac’n’cheese options hit supermarkets.
The future is here, and it’s vegan!
