May 5, 2015 Updated: March 20, 2023

Animal Equality’s 2015 investigations and campaigns are focused on those areas where animals need it the most. Our recent investigations have exposed animal cruelty in the food and vivisection industry’s. Our awareness programs on college campuses are motivating and inspiring students to choose a more compassionate lifestyle. Here is some of our most important work in the last four months!

We have reached millions of people:

Our investigation into the lamb industry in Italy has reached millions of people in Italian and Spanish media, the investigation was also seen by over 500,000 people on social media. Lili’s story, the life of a duck in fattening farm in Germany, also touched the heart of thousands.

Every new person we reach becomes aware of what cruel animal industries hide and has the power to make more compassionate choices.

We showed the truth behind the animal testing industry:

Less than two weeks ago Animal Equality released footage of the practices carried out on mice at the Medical School of the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. Undercover investigators also filmed the experiments on pigs at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital.

The investigation appeared in media in Spain and Germany.

Over 100 animals were confiscated from a Mexican zoo after our investigation:

After Animal Equality’s investigation and report, the Mexican Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (Profepa) confiscated a total of 101 animals from a zoo named “Club de los Animalitos”. Among the animals are bears, lions, jaguars, tigers, and camels.

We’re spreading compassion on campuses:

Our compassionate outreach campaign has reached thousands of students on campuses throughout the UK. We have also organized several free food samplings to promote a compassionate lifestyle.

And more!

Our investigation into the Chinese fur industry was featured on the Daily Mail, we exposed the mistreatment to ducks in a French foie gras farm which supplies to the largest producer in the world and our activists and volunteers have organized protests and events in 8 different cities!
