Stick’s ‘n’ Sushi Has Agreed to Stop Selling Foie Gras!

Danish organization Anima convinced the chain to stop serving foie gras by showing undercover investigations conducted by Animal Equality, Viva! and L214.

The Japanese restaurant chain Sticks’ n’ Sushi in Denmark has confirmed that foie gras – made from the enlarged livers of force-fed geese and ducks – will not be served anymore.

Danish organization Anima highlighted the cruelty involved to produce this so-called delicacy, by showing undercover investigations which had been conducted by Animal Equality, Viva! and L214. After seeing the images, Stick’s ‘n’ Sushi agreed to remove it from their menu in Denmark.

We are delighted to share this news as these steps are essential to continue to generate greater awareness and respect towards animals in our society.

TAKE ACTION: You can help spare ducks and geese from suffering by signing our petition for a US ban on foie gras.
